Provides upper-body shielding and crystal-clear visibility during
special procedures.
This x-ray barrier provides optically-clear, distortion-free visibility
while shielding medical personnel from scatter radiation during special
procedures and cardiac catheterization. Its large CLEAR-Pb Lead-Plastic
Window offers 0.5 mm lead-equivalent protection to the user's head and upper
body.
Shatter-resistant lead-plastic window is easily
positioned over table.
The shatter-resistant window is large enough to shield two persons at a
time, if necessary. It can be moved vertically from 36" to 54" above the
floor, making it compatible with tables of all heights. The window also
swivels about the vertical support column within a 40 degree arc, and can be
locked at any angle within this arc. For radiation protection, complete
visibility and versatility, the Adjustable-Height Mobile X-Ray Barrier is
tops in its class.
Compatible with rotary patient cradles.
In the model 56-615 barrier, a small portion of the window has been cut away
to eliminate any interference with the cradle movements during a procedure.
If two persons are required during any portion of a procedure, both are safe
behind the large protective viewing window.
Adaptable to sterile fields.
The CLEAR-Pb viewing window can be draped, using our disposable sterile
drape, to maintain sterile technique and complete visibility.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Clear-Pb Viewing Window: Made of shatter-resistant, distortion-free
lead-plastic, 24" x 36" x 12 mm thick (0.5 mm lead-equivalent). Optically
clear with light amber tint. Bottom edge of shield can be adjusted from 36"
to 54" above the floor.
Floor Stand: Lightweight aluminum, 76" high, mounted on a 21" x 20"
base with five casters. Counterbalanced vertical adjustment of x-ray
shielding window pane. Knob-lock holds window securely at any level.
Adjustable-Height Mobile Barrier shields the user's upper body while
providing a clear view of the patient and equipment. Note how close to the
patient the physician can get and still be protected. The 56-615 Barrier can
be used with rotary patient cradles. The specially-shaped window permits
unobstructed rotation of the cradle during examinations.
